SCHOOL of ROCK — Ryman Auditorium
School of Rock Nashville, Franklin, and Mt. Juliet will return to the historic Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, July 19th for their 5th Annual "Rockin' The Ryman" show benefiting the Music Health Alliance. The schools' performance program bands will perform music from the following tribute shows: Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Friends, Nu Wave, Southern Rock, and Classic Metal.
"There's nothing like playing in your hometown at the best venue in America: The Ryman Auditorium," says owner, Kelly McCreight. School of Rock annually hosts a benefit to support local nonprofits that support Nashville's youth and musicians, and this year a portion of ticket sales will support the Music Health Alliance. Music Health Alliance is a musician’s resource for healthcare solutions and access and has served over 20,000 music professionals and their families
"This is my absolute favorite School of Rock event of the year," says Angie McCreight, owner. "I have never seen so much talent in children, and the opportunity to play at the Ryman is a dream come true for all musicians. It's amazing to accomplish being on that stage at an early age. These are wonderful kids and teens that work hard and create a special community at School of Rock. I look forward to seeing what students will return as a headlining act!"
